What’s included, and what’s extra

To keep the per-device price simple, here’s the full breakdown:

Included in $15 inc GST / device / month

  • All Huntress licensing - Managed EDR, Security Awareness Training
  • The Huntress 24/7 SOC and incident response from Huntress’s side
  • Our deployment of the agent fleet-wide and tuning
  • Adding/removing devices as your team changes
  • A monthly summary email of what was caught and what to action
  • Being your first phone call when the SOC escalates an incident

Not included (charged separately at our hourly rate)

  • Major remediation work after a confirmed incident - e.g. rebuilding a compromised laptop, conducting a breach review, working with your legal/insurance team. This is charged at our standard hourly rate; the per-device price covers the SOC’s analysis and our triage call, not unlimited cleanup hours.
  • Migration of other security tools off the network
  • RUSH callouts (after-hours, weekend, public holiday) outside an active incident response - standard hourly rates apply

Third-party items

Anything we buy on your behalf - replacement laptops, paid plugins, third-party recovery services - is invoiced separately, with current pricing confirmed before purchase.

FAQ

Pricing & billing

Is the $15 inc GST price really “all in”?
For 95% of small businesses, yes - that’s the full monthly recurring cost. The exceptions are listed in “What’s not included” above (mostly: hours-based remediation work after a confirmed incident, and major IT consulting outside Huntress).
Is there a setup fee or onboarding cost?
No setup fee. Onboarding hours (deployment, pilot, rollout) are included in the per-device price for the first month. After that, the same monthly rate covers ongoing management.
Is there a minimum term?
Month-to-month, no lock-in. Cancel with 30 days’ notice.
How many endpoints does “one user” cover?
Each device running the Huntress agent - laptop, desktop or server - is billed at $15/month inc GST. No per-user bundling; you pay for the devices you protect.
How do you invoice?
Monthly in advance, by tax invoice. Bank transfer or PayID preferred (no fees); credit card via Stripe with a small surcharge.
Are you registered for GST?
Yes. The headline $15 figure is inc-GST; $13.64 is the ex-GST equivalent (the $1.36 difference is the 10% Australian GST). Tax invoices issued in accordance with ATO requirements.
How does this compare to other options?
Huntress is purpose-built for the small/mid market and is generally a fraction of the price of enterprise EDR/MDR products like CrowdStrike or SentinelOne (which are also overkill operationally for most SMBs). Defender alone is cheaper but has no human SOC reading the alerts - which is the bit that actually saves you.
